Kelly's creative passion leads him to winding dirt side roads and long forgotten trail heads where people have long since moved on, leaving still scenes behind.  In those silent places where the only sound for miles can be found in the shifting boughs of the trees and by the small creatures that scurry about the ground, Kelly finds the shack that was once a home, the metal frame that once raced Route 66, and brings life once again to them through his eyes and his art.  The graphite scenes he scratches on textured paper speak to a simpler time where values were honest and plain and a deal made with a handshake was law.

Kelly resides with his family in Colorado and spends weekend trips camping in the mountains when he can, searching for new inspiration and enjoying time with the ones he loves.
